95% of us have caught what we call the sweet kiss of the Kissing Disease! Yes, it's mononucleosis, caused by the Epstein-Barr virus (named after its discoverers, obvs). It loves to give smooches and shared drinks to (un)lucky folks, and then make them pay with swollen glands and fatigue that lasts for weeks! It can also enlarge a spleen, so zippers on those backpacks and no stunts on the field. To prevent it, a 4-7 week incubation period should be considered, though the virus can stick around for a year or two. Nevertheless, it ain't too contagious amongst y'all, so keep kissing your sweeties with caution!
